Elder Porter Ellis

  Aloha 皆さん、 So much has happened, it's been a crazy few weeks.  I wanna share one of the biggest miracles I've ever seen while on the mission. And that's finding and being able to teach Tai! Man this kid is awesome, we met him on p-day while we were leaving this mall and he just called out to us. The first thing he asked was  “You guys from cali?” I turned around and I swear I thought this guy was like 14. Anyways we went up and talked to him. Found out he was a 22 year old guy from America (lived all over) and is just traveling by himself and is staying in Japan for 3 months! We talked with him for a bit and told him we were Christian missionaries and I kid you not he pulled out a whole Bible out of his backpack.  Tai told us he's a Christian too and that he's been studying the Bible everyday. Mariteragi 長老 asked if he would want to study together and boom just like that we started teaching him.  My favorite part of the mission is teaching lessons. Specificall...

  Aloha 皆さん、 No cap, the past two weeks I had an email written out but then I just deleted the whole thing. Crashed out for no reason and just didn't end up sending an email so that's my fault frfr. I don't have much but I just thought I'd get one out at least. Also apparently I'm Unc now, I've hit 21 and some of the 18 and 19 year old missionary gremlins are letting me know I'm cooked💀 Highlights:  -exchanges -soumen!🙌 -Nerd Maxxing -Birthday  -Masato -Zone Conference  Exchanges: Yuh, had a ton of exchanges and all of them were so fun. Particularly Hofu and Shimonoseki Exchanges were fire because I love Dasalla and Cromar 長老. Both of them are such awesome missionaries and we all love a ton of the same stuff. Did some card shop finding again too which is always fun because I get to easily talk to some young dudes in an air conditioned building🙌 overall though exchanges are always fun :) Soumen:  We had a soumen activity with the ward which was super fun. ...
