Week 1- Home MTC

Aloha minasan (everyone),

I cannot believe it's already been a week. In a weird way it feels like it's been way short but also WAYYYY long. I had a lot of stuff going on this week so you guys get to hear all about it!

1. Waking up at 4am
2. My district!
3. Cousin in the MTC???
4. I'm in a trio!!!

Yes you heard that right, I wake up at 4am. Technically I'm supposed to be up at least by 3am but my lovely companions allow me to do daily planning and personal study a little later. I'm EXTREMELY grateful. So generally I wake up at 4am, get ready for the day and start with daily planning. We also do companion study (which is awesome) and then we have language study at 5am. The whole day was packed with classes and it was a little overwhelming but I was able to get through them.
I met my district and they are honestly some of the most awesome people I have met. Everyone comes from such different backgrounds and has different testimonies it's so cool to get to know them all better! Our district is led by three teachers who all teach different classes and they are super cool too!
Sooo surprise I have a cousin in the MTC who is actually also in my district, who is actually going on the same mission as me at the same time! I had never met this cousin before but he is a really awesome guy who has a great testimony. He's also the MASTER of analogies, and uses them when teaching lessons to each other quite frequently. Shout Out to Elder Medeiros!
I'm also in a trio companionship which is super cool. At first I only had Elder Tibbits as my companion, but I guess we were killing it too much so they gave us Elder Nanai-Seturo who is from Australia! They both have super cool testimonies but Elder Nanai is super friendly and inspiring to me! He shared with me that the road for him to become a missionary was super hard and he actually got his papers rejected 6 TIMES! But he persevered and had faith that he would be able to get accepted and he's now in the MTC. I'm honestly super blessed and cannot wait to meet everyone in the MTC. But for now I have to finish writing my farewell talk for tomorrow so I'll catch everyone laterz.

Shoots!
