Week 16- Patience and Hope

Rough week :/ All of our lessons canceled except for one. Lots of meetings, and I had to start another comp inventory two days into the new transfer. Aiyah, but I was able to study a lotttt this week. I focused my study on chapter 6 of preach my gospel. Which focuses on christlike attributes. Honestly it was super gas and a great reminder to myself on what those attributes are and what they look like. I focused on patience and hope during my study because I think that's what I continually need the most of. I also prayed a lot to Heavenly Father to help me strengthen and help me grow my patience and hope. Which I'm thinking why it was such a rough week with a lot of pride having to be pushed on the side on my part. But nevertheless I am grateful because these experiences are helping me grow, even if it is extremely frustrating. As I studied patience and hope though I learned so much. I always thought patience meant being calm and being able to wait for something and I thought hope was just waiting for what you want to happen. And yet they are both tied together and also reliant on faith. Having patience is having faith that even through your trials Heavenly Father will help you, even though you may be frustrated there is an end if you are able to endure. Having hope is doing everything in your power and having faith and hope in Heavenly Father that he will take care of the rest. As I reflected on this past year I am extremely grateful. The amount of progress I have made from last January to this one is only possible through Heavenly Father (ifykyk). Seriously. So I wanted to invite you all to also study PMG chapter 6 with me. I promise it will help with any growth you want to see this year. I'm eternally grateful for the opportunities and resources I have received from Heavenly Father and am grateful for the growth I was able to have. I am looking forward to more growth and learning and am looking forward for choke trials to work on my patience and hope.
Highlights:
-Transfers
-Comp inventory
-Elder Medeiros
Transfers:
Yessuh so we had transfers and I'm staying in the same place with the same companion. LES GOO, I love this area and the people and it's been great. The missionaries are great too so it's all good. No VISA news yet sorry Japan you gotta wait a little longer but I'm stoked for this new transfer. Always looking at the positives.
Comp inventory:
We had a complete inventory 2 days into the transfer which was good. I had to start em again but we were both able to reflect and grow and worked em all out. Hopefully this transfer will be gas too, just gotta learn how to not let my pride get the better of myself and love my comp to death.
Elder Medeiros:
Yessir cuz, you get your own section. I got to talk to Elder Medeiros quite a bit this past week with all the holidays. It was great to talk in Japanese and talk to each other about our problems and get some insight. It was really helpful for me anyway. Just wanted to say I appreciated it.
Japanese word of the week:
γγγγ = evidence
Aight, love you all, have a good week. And happy new years.
