Week 87- Little by little

 Aloha 皆さん、

Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about how important it is to just keep trying each day, even when things don’t go perfectly. Living here in Japan and serving as a missionary has taught me that real growth comes from doing the small, simple things consistently. Some days, I feel like I’m making so many mistakes—messing up my Japanese, or feeling like I’m not making a big impact. But I’ve learned that God doesn’t expect us to be perfect. He just wants us to keep going.

There have been plenty of moments when I wanted instant results, but I’ve started to see that real change comes bit by bit, through patience (which is hard because I lack it), and steady effort. I’m learning that enduring and continuing to do my best, especially after I make mistakes is so vital to becoming more like Jesus Christ. Each small step, every prayer, every genuine attempt to reach out, it all matters—even if it’s not immediately obvious.

These challenges have helped me so much honestly. Little by little they’re teaching me to trust God a little more and to be patient with myself. The setbacks and mistakes suck, but I know that as I keep trying—even and especially when I fall short—He’ll help me grow into who I’m supposed to become.

Highlights:

-MLC (my last one i think)
We had MLC again which was pretty fun and the food was super good. Kinda weird it'll probably be my last but it was always fun to be able to travel to Fukuoka at least once a transfer

-Yatsushiro service

We did the yatsushiro service again after a long long time. It was really fun to do again We got to help out this really old grandma and she was so cute. She talked to me a bunch about her grandkids and what not. As we were cleaning her house and moving furniture around there was this closet with suits and ties and there was a Gucci tie that she gave to me💀 and it was a pretty nice one too, she wouldn't take no for an answer. She was way too kind.

-care package

My lovely parents sent me another care package which I'm so so grateful for. It had all kinds of goodies in it which was amazing. Also some shirts and other stuff which was awesome. I love and miss you mom and dad❤️

-Sports

We weren't able to play last week because of MLC which sucked but we've started again and in the package my parents brought my soccer cleats up which has been amazing. Honestly it's been super fun and we are building such a good relationship with the college guys.

Anyways Das all.

Shoots!
